The female nude is a favorite subject of male painters, which Tapa approaches precisely and carefully, in his own manner. By giving them names, the artist does not mark a real woman in a portrait sense, but addresses the woman as an inspiration and muse, experiencing it on a personal level. The artist was happy to put that perfectly tender female body against a background of stones and waterfalls, old, cracked walls or a clean matte, dark background that does not draw attention. Just as he called one of them "Mystery lady", all these ladies in Tapi's paintings are shrouded in a veil of secrets and mystery, for which the artist searched as much as for its solutions. Whether their heads are turned away from us, or in the shadows, covered by hair, or their backs are turned away from the observer, each of them preserves their identity. It is interesting that in each act some of the motifs are there to confuse or direct, a blue veil, one sneaker, a parrot on the knee, an empty glass, fur...
